UK Internet visits to weblogs reached an all time high last week. As the chart below illustrates, Blogs and Personal Websites accounted for 1.19% of all UK traffic, equivalent to one in every 84 internet visits.

It would be nice to think so!
I would actually question though, if the public are overly concerned about the integrity of the author - after all, publications like The Sun, Mirror et al. don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!
That said, I still think that if you want to be credible in any medium, your reputation has to be built on credibility.
