I HAVE just spent far too long looking through a load of TypePad themes you can plug into your site if you are using the Pro account - take a look at The Style Archive.
If you have experience of using Advanced Templates then it shouldn't take too long to give your site a different look, and if you want the full step-by-step instructions check out this TypePad Support page.
hello, i am somewhat new to typepad and i am trying to change my layout to a layout that i dl from the style archive. maybe you could help or refer me to a site that can help?

Hi Sara
You need to have the pro level of TypePad account to go down the route of using one of the templates.
To tell you the truth if you are new to TypePad and web design in general I would look to gain a knowledge of how the service works first.
There are quite a number of templates within TypePad that you can play with.
Although plugging a new design in is not too difficult, invariably you'll need to match up any images used in the stylesheet, the value comes from the articles you write.
If you decide to make changes then just make sure you back up any files so at least you can revert back if things go astray.
All the best
Craig
