A NUMBER of new additions have been served up by TypePad that will help you get your writing in front of people.
The TypePad updates include a range of features including search engine friendly URLs, although they are still truncated, the option to enable comments on Pages you create and improvements to the stats package.
One of the most interesting features is the option to allow readers to bookmark your article to del.icio.us or to offer it up to readers of Digg, two services with a massive following.
Basically it means site visitors can spread your work across the internet with just a click placing it in front of other people who will already be following the subject you cover, but who may have never crossed your site.
It all comes down to the power of the link and the fact that your article never moves from its spot on the internet, which means people can easily access it from wherever it is featured elsewhere.
It is something I highlighted in a talk yesterday stressing the importance of making it easy for readers to place your work, often via a simple link, in front of their friends and peers.
Good find Craig - but where did you find it in typepad? I just don't see it!
Thanks,
Robin.

Hi Robin
If your site is not using Advanced Templates dive into the Design section and then Select Content.
At the top you can tweak the elements that appear in the footer, adding the Digg and del.icio.us links as you see fit.
Hope this helps, Craig
