YOU can use this tip to place unique links in the side columns of your TypePad blog, for example, when you want to link to your own review of a book from a list of titles.
So if you are not completely clear on how you would write out a link so that it displays properly on your site, try this method instead.
I will use a link to a book review as an example, so first off log in to TypePad and start a new post.
Type in the descriptive text people will see in the column, for example, "Read my review..." highlight it and then click on the link button logo and place the website address of your review article in the pop up box.
Save and you will have the link you require. Copy this short line of HTML and then place this in the Notes section beneath the individual book cover within your books TypeList.
Click the Save and Update button and you are done, your new link will now sit beneath the book cover and title in your list of favourite reads. There is no need to save the article you originally started.
As a quick aside you need to double-check that within the Configure section of each TypeList that the box beside Display Notes is checked - otherwise you will be refreshing the site and wondering why your new link is not displaying.
Naturally you could use this to link to a list of your best articles, other websites or to place a link elsewhere on the internet to link back to your main site.
