IF you are having a go at doing podcasts then adding a bit of music can give your piece some depth and character.
But unless you are a musician yourself, finding some to actually play can be a bit of a challenge.
However, Alex Bellinger’s Verbalsim website highlights a service that allows you to use pieces written by musicians.
Electromancer hosts a wide range of music from independent artists including a section that gives you a choice of many different tracks you can use in a podcast.
You need to credit the musician in your piece as well as on your show notes, but that is not too much to ask for especially after you have listened to some of the examples.
