JUST a few days ago I wrote about how writers and journalists could use their back catalogue of work to help boost their income, please see Make the most of your work.
One of the reasons I push this option is because there are so many new and innovative ways for your to earn money from your work, for example hooking up Amazon sales with YouTube videos.
In the clip above you will see that the advert strip links across to books related to the subject of the video, it uses the keywords people enter when uploading a video.
I think the location of the strip would look better running along the bottom of the screen as it would almost sit perfectly alongside the YouTube logo, that might be a future option.
Some people might say they don't want to see adverts on their videos, which is fair enough and disabling the option of allowing people to post them to their sites means the clip won't play using this system.
But if you place some subtle mentions of your website address on your video as I do in the example above then your work could be seen far and wide and people can still click on the video to watch more of your clips on YouTube.
Is a very interesting feature.
