IF you have ever bought a book online then there is a good chance that you bought it through Amazon.
But you can make a few pounds back by linking up with their well-established affiliate scheme.
To join up with the site you need to provide account details and your website address, and once accepted you will receive a unique code number.
One of the advantages of the Amazon scheme is that you can promote not only books, but DVDs, electrical goods and the many, many items the site sells.
One of the main disappointments of the Amazon scheme is that you only receive an average of 5% commission on sales.
But the Amazon site is so well known that visitors to your site already trust the name so it is worth linking up with the site.
Within the reports section of the site you are provided with very simple details of sales and clicks, but you can see which products produced the best returns.
This could then allow you to target similar products from both within Amazon and other affiliate sites you have signed up with.
For more details on the Amazon scheme, please click here.
Amazon's affiliate scheme will only make you decent money if the people you refer buy the more expensive luxury items sucn has digital cameras, computers etc etc.

Hi Tipster, must agree that items such as digital cameras can prove more lucrative, but I think offering book reviews with the chance to buy the title can add greatly to a site.
